The 2019 Boat Parade on Deep Creek Lake

The Deep Creek Lake Lion's Club Boat Parade-  Saturday, July 6th.

It will start from the from the McHenry cove and will proceed in single file past a number of judging stations along the route. Spectators at the judging stations will vote for their favorite boats, and prizes will be awarded in a number of categories, with a Grand Prize consisting of a custom-designed Winner’s Pennant and trophy. At the end of the judged parade, lighted boats will proceed back to the McHenry cove at dusk.

Entrants in the parade will need to pay a MINIMUM $50 registration fee, and the number of entries are limited, so be sure to pre-register to ensure your spot. Prizes are awarded according to total funds raised by each boat. All the funds raised benefit our Blind Skier and Camper Programs.

Other non-profit organizations who enter a boat can keep all the money they raise!

Vote with CASH: On shore: At the Creamery, Dutch's and Uno's find our ballot box and drop your cash donation into the slot of your favorite boat! On the docks: Our Lions Club boat will follow the parade and we can collect your donations dockside!
